A few weeks ago, the Cotton Quilters decided that a good road trip was in order. Our meetings are on the first Monday of the month, but honestly, they aren’t the same since Covid hit. That last road trip though, that was a hit! So why not another? This time we went to north Louisiana.
The Cotton Quilters are going strong! We have a new president, who is very laid-back. But we’re getting things done, because she’s game for almost anything someone suggests. Word Press and Wifi Did you miss me? It’s been a whole week since my post on revamping the website. Getting anything out is a huge struggle. Word Press has been the bane of my life for the last week or so. Between WP and wifi I am close to done. Most of my WP
we did something different this month and it was a wonderful success. We met early–about 9am or whenever you could get there–had a sew morning, ate lunch, then held our meeting at the usual time of 1pm.
Monday the Cotton Quilters showed some beautiful finishes and works-in-progress. As usual, Sheila–a relative newcomer–showed up with a huge pile of quilts and tops. It’s amazing how many quilts she produces in a month! Recently retired and new to quilting, she’s making up for lost time. All of the finishes thus far are from Sheila!
