Yes! Three new classes: Grow Your Garden, Almost in Church, and Crazy Cabins. Let me tell you more about each one.

Grow Your Garden is an applique class in which students use “Steam a Seam 2” fusible web to learn about raw-edge applique using patterns I created to build flowers. As we move through the class, we learn how to use the pattern pieces in a variety of ways to create unique flowers, leaves, and vines. Before leaving, students try their hand at making their own patterns and sharing them with each other. Read more here…

Almost in Church is a class in which students create a beautiful stained glass wall hanging. Learn how to organize the “glass,” quilt it, and add “lead” to give it that distinctive stained glass look. I recommend using batiks, solids, and tone-on-tone fabrics, but the quilting and leading are just important for that finished, church-like feel. You will love the outcome! Read more…

Crazy Cabins is the third class and has been a favorite for some time. This workshop uses the log cabin block to build modern, improv pieces in just two or three colors and some neutrals. It’s an easy, laid-back class that can give students a fun wall-hanging or table runner in just a few hours. Choose your favorite colors and either a quarter- or full-block to make your unique small quilt. Read more here…
