In my last post, about the Andy Warhol quilt, I wrote about one of my recent finishes. But there have been others, albeit small ones. As CQG president, I have to bring a door prize and, while I do purchase a few things, I also want to include something from my stash or that I’ve made. The last few days I’ve been making these sweet little storage pods that either sit on a shelf or hang from a hook.

Each will go into a large storage box along with new scissors and rulers and some magazines that I’ve been meaning to give away. Is it a surprise that my quilty friends love old magazines? It was to me, but I am happy to share!

Another of my little projects is this snap bracelet pincushion. Maybe one day I’ll write a short tutorial. For this one, I used fabric with a sewing motif. Isn’t it cool that the scissors match up so well? Luck alone did that.

Lastly, Rich and I went to Monroe to the Northeast La. Quilt Guild Show. It was my birthday gift and wonderful to spend the day with him. I took several photos that I hope to share soon.
Thanks for visiting. I’d love to hear from you, so leave a comment.
