I love to go to retreat: to visit with my friends, sew all I want, eat the best of foods, and rest/sleep like a queen. It’s heavenly. And this is the week! Actually, I’m already home. I never seem able to stay longer than three nights. I get much too lonesome, despite talking to Richard a couple of times a day. But never mind that, what did we do and how much did I accomplish?
Let’s start with my friends. Honestly, I can’t tell you who, exactly, made these pieces. There were so many pieces and not enough design wall, so one piece would go up, and in no time, another would take its place. Regardless, every piece shows an awesome amount of talent! I love these women! The are just what any quilter would want: talent and inspiration, encouragement and support, and a true sense of community.
I hope you enjoyed the quilt candy from my retreat friends. I’ll post my own work in a day or two.
