I have pictures from our last meeting’s show and share. I am about as reliable as a three-year-old. Between brain fog and quilting, there’s little that I can be counted for. I have several alarms to remind me to pick up grandies. Even so, resetting those alarms when things change can be a lost cause.
So, I told you about the CQG meeting way back on the third of this month. I also told you about the whole friendship fabric collection that Ingrid gave me after their road trip. I have not worked on those blocks since that last post. C’est la vie! (That’s life!) Before I show you all
It’s been such a long while since I was last able to meet with my wonderful friends in the Cotton Quilters’ Guild. Precisely July of 2022! I really missed them all and, apparently, they also missed me. Not surprisingly, I definitely felt the love! Everyone, it seemed, had a Show and Tell item. Including me
we did something different this month and it was a wonderful success. We met early–about 9am or whenever you could get there–had a sew morning, ate lunch, then held our meeting at the usual time of 1pm.
Monday the Cotton Quilters showed some beautiful finishes and works-in-progress. As usual, Sheila–a relative newcomer–showed up with a huge pile of quilts and tops. It’s amazing how many quilts she produces in a month! Recently retired and new to quilting, she’s making up for lost time. All of the finishes thus far are from Sheila!
